News from Voodoo Funk-film
Just over a year I have the trailer for the movie “Take Me Away Fast” posted here. This documentary follows the vinyl Digger Frank is one of his trips through West Africa, where he seeks and finds his black gold, the voodoo funk. Frankfurt wants to return to the Jazz
Fankfurt was considered for decades as Germany's capital of jazz, because jazz has a long tradition in Frankfurt. This did not begin with the American soldiers who brought jazz to the end of the Second World War and in the main, but much earlier, in the roaring twenties. Clubs like the jazz club was founded in 1952 and the German Jazz Festival Frankfurt contributed decisively to fame in the field of jazz, as do musicians like the Mangelsdorff, Heinz Sauer. (more…)

as DJs and producers are Lefto Simbad and has long been part of the Inner Circle of Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings and his Family Worldwide. Has a name something similar to the BBC Radio One show Worldwide, one of the diehard fan base listens for over twelve years late.
